What's A Posta?
Postas originated in the heart of Venice. They were small in numbers at first and were domesticated animals, but grew larger and larger in population, being shipped overseas in exchanged for goods. Now, Postas are used as replacements for mailmen in many areas. There are many that are also kept as pets and others that live in the wild. Even if a posta is wild, they will always have letters or some form of literature that they keep. The letters can either be love letters to other postas, diary entries, newspaper clippings, or other writings from humans.
Overall Appearance
Postas can grow to be as large as a greyhound and as small as a bulldog. They are usually seen with either wolf ears or rabbit ears, helping them greatly in hearing. Their sense of smells are a bit dull but their eye-sight makes up for it. Postas have pouches that they use to carry letters, literature, or personal possessions. They will rarely keep packages however. All Postas wear postmen hats and collars with a light on them that allows them to see and deliver things at night.
Postas can live for up to 65 years
Diet
Unlike most four-legged beings, a Posta's appetite can be quite flexible. They can consume human foods as well as natural foods. The only things that a Posta cannot consume are insects and apricots.
