my train of thought is really jsut everywhere


two time travel characters i've had since 6th grade have only been used to get me through school assignments.
the nerd who made the time machine
the dork who is friends with the nerd
and the character they meet from the given time they went to

in the second story i wrote where i had to explain volcanoes, the dork broke the time machine, causing it to glitch. in a story or two since then, the time machine has been faulty and tends to glitch the characters to similar or related time periods/events before sending them back home


recently i have developed a last-minute 'steampunk' character, henry the jalopy
who is able to travel in time, talk, and drive on his own.
his inventor was professor lockman (a reference to another character of mine) who created him as more of a prototype, who developed into a friend. but prof. lockman dies, leaving henry to sort of rot alone for about ninety years until he is discovered by an unknown character i didn't have a chance to develop

idea

the time machine breaks, leaving the nerd and dork lost. they stumble across henry and the two get him to work. once they find out the car can speak (and after he tells him his story), it is discovered he is pretty much a time machine on wheels and they bring him to the present where he works as their new time machine


thus leading to the assignment i need to do ;o;

It's like you copied my brain and used it to spew words in the exact way I myself would spew them.

It makes sense to me, don't you worry about sounding insane.
