INTRODUCTION
The world of Tiamat is a place formed by the deepest corners of a humans soul. It consists out of 4 main pieces that resemble continents, also called "The Four Great Plains". These four plains all have their own names; "The Ferrh Plain", "The Vitae Plain", "The Flumen Plain" and "The Wiatr Plain". There are also a few lesser plains, which are much smaller and often considered to be just islands by the inhabitants of the main continents, but they are nonetheless continents too. These all lie in an enormous ocean, named after their main deity, which translates to "The Star Jewel's Waters". Most of the population on Tiamat is made up by Tiamat's Dragons, also known as "Tigons".

WHAT IS A TIAMAT DRAGON ?
A Tiamat Dragon, also known as a "Tigon", is one of the most widely spread breeds of creatures on Tiamat. They have a light but powerful build with very short fur, giving them a fairly streamlined shape. They have six legs, the front and hind legs act as normal legs would on any quad, yet the two extra limbs have a slightly different skeletal build and are connected at the joints by a thick membrane. There additional limbs can help with climbing and eventually swimming thanks to the webbed paws. They also have a shark-like tail, which adds to their swimming capabilities. Tigons have two fins on their tails and three on their backs. All Tigons have two pointed sabre fangs and raptor claws on their hind legs. Another trait is that they always have manes, most commonly a pointed mohawk, but sometimes also a very fluffy mane going all the way around their neck. It is very rare that a Tigon has a unique hairstyle, but it possible. As a final necessary trait, they have bat-like ears that can vary in length. Long-eared Tigons usually have more noble blood than short-eared Tigons, and are therefore also rarer. Optional mutations that some have developed are horns and leg-plates. These are most commonly seen on the nobles and more sturdy Tigons.

COLOURATION
Tiamat Dragons have a unique colouration; they can only have a grey base colour. This can range from the darkest to the lightest shades, yet pure black and white is only possible to be achieved in royals. The markings that cross through this plain base are of two vibrant colours. The eyes have the same colour as the tongue and pawpads and are determined by the first colour they see. It's mostly the eyes of one of the parents, but it occurs that they see a different object when they open their eyes for the first time. Heterochromia is near impossible in Tigons, though it does tend to happen on extremely rare occasions. The colour of the main markings is always a gradient of whichever colour they feel most strongly connected to and is determined by laying out an array of coloured pebbles in front of the newborn, who gets to pick it's favourite. The membrane on the additional limbs and the horns also have this gradient colour, being darkest at the point where they are closest to the skin and getting lighter as the distance becomes greater. The inner ears act in the opposite way and are darkest at the tips. The claws are usually a darker shade than the colour of the pawpads.
