Batlings are small quadrupeds that appear to have been created from the left over ingredients stuck to the bottom of a messy witch's cauldron.

Size.
Baby - Golf ball size
Juvenile - Base ball size
Adult - Soccer ball size

Diet.
Anything and everything they can get their claws on, except the ingredients they were created with.
