Regarding the design I do agree with you, it looks a bit simple...
Like the unique markings though, the eye marks are cool.

yeah !! it was such a good surprise for me because I've been really questioning my art for a while and to have so many people color it in and leave nice comments is amazing ;v; I'm super glad I did, thank you so much for your suggestion!!
