❄ but little did they know,
that every night she wept her tears.
that behind her smile, there was just so much to hear.
and little did they know
that she cried herself to bed.
that whenever she fell asleep,
there were monsters in her head.
little did they know
that that was pain, behind her eyes.
that all of her glee was just a really big lie.
and little did they know,
the thoughts that crossed her mind.
how could they not know,
all the fear that hid below?
yet little did they know,
what her drawings truly meant.
what it was like to feel life as a threat.
little did they know,
she hardly ever felt glee.
that life was even worse than the sting of a bee.
and little did they know,
how happiness felt to her.
how much more joy it brought her than her face showed.
...this is just a thing of mine.
feeling really sad lately, no true reason.
just desperately miserable.
possibly i'll just always be a sad tween.
so, er, feel free to send me a pm...
i would appreciate a friendly chat.
m'kay, thanks.
