how do you make multiple linearts that look the exact same?

What you do is you you see the bars that says
| File | Edit | Layers | Effects | View | Help
Click on the Layers tab and a menu will drop down. Click on duplicate layers.
That ought to work for you. You can drag it around with the move tool. The CS wiki has a page all about it. Hope that makes sense. If you have any other questions, feel free to drop me a PM. I would be happy to help.
