sloogeroos are a hybrid species built for the wild or to keep as a house pet. a cross of many
species as scientists have proposed, they pack a lot of interesting features, including pointed
ears keen for listening, a huge nose that can sniff out danger, and a big fluffy tail. their fur
is so thick on the outside that it covers their tiny paws and when intimidated, they will fluff
up their fur to two times its original size. sizes ranges from a mouse to chinchilla, and these
creatures are often found in tundras, and other cold areas [originally found in northern russia.]
they may overheat themselves if exposed to too much heat, which is why you will find them
more active at night. sleeping in the fridge is recommended for them to cool off from their
heavy coat.

found in the secluded and unknowns of northern russia, these creatures were discovered by a group of shocked campers. they were fairly hostile towards them, due to never seeing humans before. for further research and conduct, they were collected brought back a few to a lab. the sloogeroos were then observed by the fascinated scientists, who had never seen such an animal as of them. they were small, around the size of chinchilla, and nimble, a trait built to elude prey. as they grew closer to humans, hostility and fear died down and soon became a fancy and expensive household pet for a family to enjoy. they often sleep during the day to release the tension of the fur during the day, and at night, when temperatures die down, they are usually active, similar to cats. their fur makes of two-thirds of the size of their body, and are productive insulators, constantly producing heat. getting a cooler or mini fridge is helpful during the day.

sloogeroos have a wide variety of food sources. they feed on sassafras, turnips, beetroots, cracked walnuts shells, chestnuts, almonds, onion dicings, yellow and brown mushrooms, fir cones, pepperbulb, stringfruit seeds, and mint leaves. as household pets, a special treat would be a thick slab of honeycomb sprinkled with spices and herb leaves placed in a cupped editable leaf containing butterfly milk or just simply blocks and chunks of ice cubes - they love it. their favorite drinks include rasberry syrup and pomegranate juice with linden bark chips frosted and resin sprinklings. their diet is wide open to new different types of foods as long as they are natural and organic ingredients. by storing excess food in their cheeks, they can last many days without eating.
