What is a Skallenhund?

Skallenhunds were a species of canine that lives off dead carcasses of other animals. As humans cultivated the world the skallenhunds were forced to migrate to cities, and feed of garbage. However humans did not like their new habitat and cased them out. With nowhere to go, and nothing to eat, many skallenhunds starved. Fortunately, we intervened and decided to let people adopt these homeless canines. Skallenhunds are usually dark in color and carry a skull around, though it's not unheard of for one to pick more bones
