Welcome to Silver Falls Equestrian Center, home for horses and their riders and host to one of the most prestigious riding academies for English riders. You, dear rider, have been asked to come and join us for the summer months to learn all that you can from our world-class facility.
You will be assigned a room in the main house, and your horses to stalls. There will be certain times that you are allowed to practice in the arenas, along with clinics and lessons that will be held twice a week. Every weekend, there is a show at the facility where you can showcase your new skills.

[I] Rules & Forms [I]

1) Follow Tess’ Rules. Of course.
2) Please try to write so that we can understand what you’re saying. I can understand a typo if you’re trying to speed write, but please, nothing ridiculous.
3) I’d like posts to be at least five sentences long. No one liners, please. No one can really RP with only one liners, it gets ridiculous.
4) You can have as many characters as you can handle, but I ask that you make first a male and a female to start. Then, you can go from there.
5) Try to include everyone. It’s frustrating when you join an RP only to be unable to jump in to it.
6) I will not be giving you forms. Impress me with your creativity. They don’t need to be super complicated, but pretty is a nice bonus.
7) Please try to remember what time period that your character will be from. Appropriate names, ways of speaking, phrases, objects, peoples etc. should be in the back of your mind as you write. Otherwise everything will seem out of hand and we’ll all be time travelling all over the world.
8) Please be active! Only join if you have the intention of staying with it and actually posting.

She started riding at the age of seven, helping her grandfather with the ponies, and began teaching lessons when she was 17. After going to school for equine therapy, she returned to take control of Silver Falls. Emily is a caring, laid-back instructor who pays attention to her students needs, but still has certain requirements of them. She tends to push students who are more hesitant and scared. She likes to keep her facility organized and neat, to try and avoid injuries and is a highly intelligent woman who understands both people and horses. Charlie was born in the city, and lived for the longest time with his mother, his father and his grandmother. He was a rather antisocial child and preferred to stay in his room and read rather than to interact with other kids that lived on the street. His parents insisted he try some sports and other recreational things, but nothing quite stuck until he tried riding. Eventually, with the help of his grandmother, Charlie had enough money to buy Eddy. The two bonded quickly, and were soon winning ribbons that boosted Charlie's self-esteem greatly. Recently, he has acquired Vic, a young horse that Charlie knows will be great. Initially, Charlie is a very shy and reserved person. He prefers to be quiet and stay out of conflicts. Once he warms up to you though, he is friendly and a very loyal and honest friend at that. However, if angered he can act rashly and without reason. Maggie lived with her mother, father and her older brother her whole life in the same house. She was exposed to horses at a very young age at her aunt's farm where she usually keeps Sunny and Tonka. Her aunt noticed her love of horses and offered to teach her to ride. For her 15th birthday, her aunt bought for her a chestnut mare named Sunny. A year later, Maggie decided that she wanted to breed the mare, and thus got Tonka. Maggie is a very upbeat and happy person. She loves to be around people and make them smile and laugh. Ryker didn't grow up in place where there was a lot of land, or animals larger then a rat. He grew up in New York City, New York. Yes, the big apple. Though it's not all that great there if you were to ask him. No, he'd rather be out in the woods climbing trees or sitting back a lake playing guitar. Most of his friends thought he was the weirdest guy ever, which is a bit true. When he was younger through, in the summers he'd be sent to his Uncle's farm down in Alabama, where he was exposed to horses, cattle, poultry and different farm animals. | History - He was an accident at an Andalusian breeding farm. One of the mares jumped her paddock and ended up in the field of an Irish Sports Horse stallion. The owners didn't realise until long into the pregnancy and there was nothing they could do about it. After he was weaned he was sold at auction cheap, where Ty bought him and trained him up, with help from his dad. |
