I'm writing a book called "The Dragon Isles" and this is a character named Uzira.

A girl called Filly is teleported to a world with dragons in and bonds with the above dragon and by doing so she upsets the balance betwwen dragon worlds and human worlds and suddenly the dragon world is threatened to be attacked by men from the human world that now know how to get there and kill dragons as they hate them.

Filly and her friend Alaska (who's a guy) have to battle for what they love and care about most, and Alaska starts to develop a little thing for Filly as they become closer as friends, and his dragon and Filly's become very good friends also. YOU'LL HAVE TO READ IT SO SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!
