      gosh darn it, everytime i see a gorgeous tolter i have to tear myself away, but i can't resist this one ;u;

      Username: of gators & feigns
      Name: adfall meaning high tide
      Gender: stallion
Personality: adfall is all sorts of things, a handsome gentlemen, fearless explorer, sweet romantic at heart, but above all, he's a world class traveler with a knack for bringing some sweet into a few unsweetened lives. of course, as a domesticated horse his wanderings are extremely limited, with his most profound moment being only a long endurance ride across a cracking ice-veiled river and nearly slipping through as a young stallion. but otherwise, as you will see, he's a traveler in a different sense. having such a good temperament allows him to unlock some rather tough locks found in most discouraged children, teenagers, and even adults. he encourages others to trust him, and in turn, he places his well trusted respect upon them as well. adfall works as a therapeutic horse, and his travels all revolve around the same sweet moment when his riders finally start to smile again.
      Halter color: dark brown
      Extras: wip

Name:
Chocolate's Desire to Dream "Chocolat" (That's how the French spell it)

Gender:
    Stallion

Personality:
-Obeys only the ones he knows
Chocolat obeys only my father and I. We were the ones to save him from his brutal past owners who did not love him whatsoever. I have feelings for him that are real, and only tell him that I love him when I mean it. And in return, this stallion will basically let us do anything to him. Whether it might be lunges, rides, or just simply brushing him.
    -Skittish
He is known to get scared easily and jump to loud noises. Walk up to him, and he will trot or canter away. This goes to horses as well. Chocolat will not likely have a foal or mare want to play with him or groom him. He isn't known to be nice around other ponies in the pastures.
    -Mature
Unlike most stallions in the pastures, Chocolat doesn't like to fight. He doesn't get involved into some foolishness of roughhousing. He will act his own age as much as possible and graze most of the time.
    -Shy
He will never walk up to you unless it is me. But you may walk up to him. He might be a little alert when it comes to that, but overall he might enjoy your company if you give him a treat or two.

Halter color:
A nice creamy white with dark spots.

Extras:
On a Friday night, there was a story about 4 horses being starved at an auction barn on the news. As shocking as it was, it was normal in this part of town. I knew I wanted to help and save these magnificent creatures, but hope was lost. Nothing could save these horses, Not even the news, or the governor. Seems to be that we called in horse hunger specialists, but they wouldn't do anything about it! It was their job, wasn't it!? My father usually doesn't care about these kind of things, but this time he did. His anger was as high as it could get. I asked my father if I could give him a glass of water with ice cubes in it. He sat down, turned off the tv, and asked me
"Sweetie, do you want to come on a long, hard, cussing journey with me to that suction barn?"
Stunned that he said that, I nodded my head with a huge smile, hugging him. He looked at me once more.
"We will go tomorrow morning. Get lots of sleep. I don't want to be late to miss this."
My father walked away slowly, still mad. I ran into my bedroom and jumped on the bed excitedly, until my dad heard me the room next door and asked me to quite down. Of course he would say that. So, I layed on my bed, looking at the window next to it. I saw all of my gorgeous Icelandic Ponies grazing and running around underneath the stars. I think that's what really made my night. I turned away from the window and got underneath my covers. It was a tad cold, but it eventually warmed up. I starred at the floor for a second and closed my eyes.

"DAD!!! Wake up! Come on, Let's go now!!!"
My father did not like me rushing into his room to wake him up! But, I was too excited! Today is the day to save those horses. I was very eager to go, so I woke up early and already had my breakfast. My father got out of his bed, and walked into the kitchen getting a bowl of cheerios. He ate so slow, and I think he was doing that on purpose. But, eventually he finished his bowl to put in the sink. He then got dressed, grabbed his keys, and went out the door. Of course I was already dressed, so I went out with him. Riding in the truck with him is always as fun as it seems. We drove off to the auction barn.
As we were driving, I noticed the horse trailer in the back.
    "Uh Dad?"
    "Yes hun?"
"Why is the horse trailer in the back?"
I think I had a clue of what he was doing.
"Were going to go pick up those horses and bring them back home so we can feed them until they are full enough to reach a real owner."
"He already had this planned out??" I thought into my mind as we arrived to the auction barn. There it was, the auction barn! And the horses! 3 of them were lying skinny boned on the ground, and one was standing weak by the fence. There were tons of people there. As we got out of the truck, we stepped into dry mud. Which is pretty bad if your going to own horses.
We stomped through the crowd full of citizens, horse lovers, and news people, as I like to call them. My father somehow could spot out the owner through all of this. He approached the owner of the auction barn with a very stern face. He yelled at this man harshly.
"BERNY! Who do you think you are trying to starve these horses!? Did they ever do anything to you sir! No they have not! You think this will pull in more customers??..."
He was interrupted by the owner.
"Look here, this place is closing down son! You get your *** out of this place before someone gets called for the police!"
"Berny, that doesn't mean you have to starve these horses! And the police are already here!! I don't see them trying to stop this fight."
Looks like Berny knew that my dad had a point.
After my father talked to Berny, he went over to the police and specialist claiming that he would like to foster the horses until they have enough health to go to good homes. I think everyone liked the idea of that. The specialist talked to the police. They gave my dad paperwork to fill out. I had no clue what was going on. I should be old enough to understand, but I just cannot comprehend what was going on. It took my father 27 minutes to complete the work. He filled it all in and gave it to the police to hand it into some weird governor thingy. I still was confused.
My dad pulled in the trailer by the horse gate. People were cheering him on! And some people gave me donations for the horses. One by one, my father loaded up the horses. They were all so beautiful. How could someone ever not feed these creatures. I felt that I should cry, but I held my head up high, strong, and proud. With smiles both on our faces, we went into the truck and drove away with the four helpless horses. As soon as we got on the road, I was cheering with my dad, knowing that we are the town heroes today! I had never felt like this before. It was great to help out.
My father and I reached home. We unloaded the four horses into a separate pasture away from everyone else. We gave them loads of hay from them to eat. And plenty of water to wash it all down. Those horses were happy to see that food. I found one horses that was more interested in me then the food and water. It came up to me while I had a Hershey kiss in my hand. I gave her a nibble bit. She really liked the taste of it! I really liked him. I spent most of my time out with him and her sister. The other horses were shy and trusted no human. But something special about this horse was amazing. Everyday I would come out and feed him and visited him. I eventually gave him a name. I called him, Chocolat. Because of his shiny coat. Even though it was raggedy and boned, I knew that his coat would look outstanding.
After a year or so, it was time to give up the horses. I was very sad and unhappy. The specialists came in with a horse trailer and leads. My father was talking to them. I don't know what he was saying to be exact. But I know it was about the horses.
One by one, the horses were lead into the trailer. And they drove off. I looked into the pasture and saw Chocolat still there. My eyes widened. I ran to my dad yelling,
    "Dad! They forgot one horse!!"
He looked over at me and smiled.
"They didn't forget that horse, they gave it to you dear." (:
I stopped running. Thought about some things, then ran again towards my father to hug him. He gives the best hugs!
    "Thank you Dad."
    "Your Welcome."

And that my friends, is how Chocolat came to be mine. With a long history behind him.
