About The Felifawns

The felifawns are a very naturally shy species, which explains why they were undiscovered until now - the homes they tend to make are either underground or deep in quiet forests, making them unlikely to cross paths with humans during their lifetimes. Due to the natures of the animals that it resembles, they are quite skittish until tamed, and generally will not trust a stranger until their trust has been earned. Depending on their gender and habitat, they may be slightly more adventurous and more likely to form a bond with humans. Once they have been tamed they tend to make quite good pets, being very affectionate and loyal to the human who 'adopted' them. They are not recommended for noisy or largely inhabited houses (such as houses with small children) and prefer to be by themselves or with only other pets of their own species.

Felifawns mate for life, and only after a courting process of at least two or three weeks. Often a female felifawn will have up to half a dozen "litters" in her lifetime once she has chosen a mate, with each "litter" varying in size - often from one to three offspring, but in astounding situations, will give birth to up to six tiny felifawns. In extreme cases when a felifawn loses a mate they may choose another after a grieving period, but very rarely.

Felifawns are slightly larger than the average house cat, with males being slightly larger than females and newborns being about the size of a newborn kitten. Depending on the genetic make-up of a felifawn, they may have the tail of a deer, or that of a more feline variety. A very, very rare felifawn might be born without horns.

They are largely herbivores, with very few of them being carnivores, due to the two species that they were somehow spawned from. Their main diet would consist of fruits and vegetables, as well as many wild plants, of course. Tamed Felifawns may enjoy sweet treats, and tend to have very varying tastes. One may enjoy stealing their owner's toast, while another may attempt to sneak cookies right from the baking sheet.

* This is a closed species, do not make your own Felifawn.
* Do not sell your Felifawn, and do not gift them without getting permission from myself and the artist.
* Get three strikes and you shall be banned - and I will take away your Felifawns and put them back up for adoption.

Artist Rules:
* Artists may own up to eight Felifawn (including a custom, you may pm me if you want to discuss making another).
* Artists must make at least one Felifawn a week for adoption (pm me if you can't do this).
* No being biased when judging adoptions.
* If you need help judging something come to me or one of the other artists/mods.
* You may design commons or uncommons, please ask me before designing a rare/very rare, for permission.

Mod Rules:
* Mods may also own up to eight Felifawn (and may ask an artist to make them a custom, but no fighting if they say no - I may add mods to make their own custom if they would like).
* Watch the thread and keep it from getting locked (no spam, no fighting, etc.).
* Mods may hand out strikes, but must come to me before permanently banning someone.
