Indeed, Welcome, and I hope you enjoy yourself!
Florren, plural Florrens, are small creatures known to inhabit wooded areas. They are seen as myth by all but a few. Their small size and fear of being seen make it almost impossible for that to be changed. They are very small, only about as long as a grown man's thumb and as tall as a wall pin. Though small, they can float with a small organ containing helium and hollowbones like that of a bird. They can control their flight unexpectedly well by creating and releasing helium inside of a special organ known as a Helium Stomach, or Heliach for short.
They are very intelligent and can understand a variety of languages, human included. They also have an unnaturally fast learning curve, due to the enlarged hippocampus- or you know what, enough with the science.
Despite their small size, humanity ad every other thing that eats plants (or the things that eat plants) owe our lives to them. They help the young plants grow by temporarily living underneath them. The carbon dioxide they breathe out and their - erm, excrements - help to fertilize that plant and many of the plants near it. They absolutely refuse to live in pots unless it is filled with the certain kind of soil from that area. They adapt to new areas very quickly and will eat the parasites that the plant attracts.
Oh, are you wondering about the vase? Well, you see, Florrens have the unique ability to make a certain species of flower bloom. They are not considered adults until they know what kind of flower that is. The flower shown on this page is the kind of flower they have!
The ones that you can adopt here have stepped forward from among many and have agreed to come here. Don't worry, it's not like we invaded their homeland and stole their children!
(Yes, sadly, we must have rules. I promise they won't be too tedious!)

-Please don't steal these guys, on this site or any other. If a species has more than two characteristics of these guys I will report it as art theft.
-No complaining about the amount of Florrens available. Artists have lives too.
-I have the right to add or remove a rule or rules at any time. I will update the title saying I did, though.
