What is a Lockette?
A Lockette is a rather shy and easily intimidated canine that is roughly the size of a house cat. They usually have 3 locks on them, in rare cases more or less and in extreme conditions, none at all. However, they always have a lock on their back. If the lock is damaged or broken, the Lockette will become weak and possibly die if not repaired properly. Lockettes are pretty adaptable to most environments and are vegetarians.

I should have done this some time ago but I will be putting Lockettes on a hiatus. I can't say how long this'll last but since I am not able to put time into them nor able to create any for a long time, Locketttes will be coming a pause. I hate to see these guys just sitting around but there's not much to be done about it at the moment. Once I'm able to, I plan to reorganize everything and hopefully do some events to get the community out there and some other stuff.

○ If you have any questions or concerns about any of the rules, PM me.

► Do not ask to be a mod or artist.

○ Staff positions will occasionally be open as I see fit. If this post says staff applications are closed, do not ask about them!

► Do not ask for customs on the main thread.

○ If you'd like a custom, go here instead as to not clutter the main thread.
○ Also regarding customs, Staff may have their limit as customs if they wish. Regular adopters may only have 3 customs that do count toward their 6 limit.

► You may own 6 Lockettes as of this time. 3 of these may be customs.

○ Mods may own up to 7 and artists may own up to 10.

► Do not steal other's Lockettes.
► Do not argue over winners.

○ Artists choose who they want, not who you want. Don't argue with an artist OR the winner, respect the decision and move on.

► Lockette's on the main thread may not be auctioned or sold for any kind of currency.

○ This goes for artists and adopters. If you no longer want your Lockette, return it to the artist for re-adoption.
○ Customs can be sold for any virtual currencies. However, they cannot be resold. Customs must be returned if no longer wanted as well.
○ Lockettes can be gifted if it's okay with the artist.

► Runner-ups can be made for any Lockette if the artist chooses to.

○ That being said, do not pressure an artist into making an RU. Also, there may only be up to 2 RU's per Lockette. (Artists, if you'd like to make more, PM me about it.)

► Do not mini mod.
► Don't spam.

Guest Artist Rules
► You may make 5 Lockettes and a custom if you wish before your term is up. The custom does count toward your limit and cannot be your first design you post.
► You may not make RU's.
► You may not make any big line art changes (hair edits and accessories are fine but edits to the locks, tail, or body are not.)

Moderator Rules
► You may own up to 7 Lockettes and may make 2 customs (or ask an artist to make you one if they want to.)
► You must obey the rules as well.
► Be responsible in your strikes/bans.


Anyone caught breaking any rules will be given a strike. 3 strikes and you will be banned and your lockettes (if you have any) may be taken away.
