What is a Cloudweaver? wrote:Cloudweaver's are cat sheep hybrids that help ventilate good dreams to children in the world, while also gaining energy from the dreams. Their tails are literal dream catcher's and they usually have two tails, but can have up to three. One dream catcher is for the good dreams while the other is for the bad dreams. A CW's main diet consists of sweet, soft pastries; such as angel cake. They have no teeth, and are very gentle creatures. They are very scared in nature and will emit cloud puffs from either their head to the neck or around the paws, these clouds contain particles which makes anything around it sleepy or calm. The only thing that is able to withstand this is the CW's mortal enemy; the Nightweaver. Can you tame a Cloudweaver?

Basic Anatomy of a Cloudweaver

From a far
Cloudeweaver's have the facial appearance of a cat and a rabbit-like nose to match. They are keen in scent, eyesight and hearing (Hearing being their strongest trait). Cloudweaver's never have short fur or a nose that isn't like a rabbits.
Up close
Sometimes, a Cloudweaver may go through a genetic mutation and gain floppy ears instead of pointed, this is quite rarely seen however. If both parents had floppy ears and were to breed then the gene would pass down. If a Cloudweaver with pointed ears were to breed with floppy ears, then the chance of the gene passing down is quite low. No other ear style has been discovered.

Cloudweaver tails are very flexible and sturdy, and come in 3 different sizes. They can either appear short (Uncommon), medium (Common) or long (Rare).

Pictures of a short, medium and long tailed Cloudweaver
The tails can also appear in numbers of 1-3. The most common being 2, 3 is uncommon and having 1 tail is rare. Despite Cloudweaver's using 2 dream catchers to separate good and bad dreams, 1 tailed Cloudweaver's can still function fine without both in hand. Cloudweaver's never have no tails, as this would cause them to suffer hugely.

3, medium tailed Cloudweaver
Each tail a Cloudweaver has is wrapped in a special string that does not fall down when the tail relaxes and attracts dreams. There are 3 different patterns the dream catcher can come in, each being handmade by the Cloudweaver.

Messy string pattern
The messy string pattern shows that the Cloudweaver struggles in weaving.

Crosshatch string pattern
The crosshatch pattern means that the Cloudweaver is an average weaver.

Diamond string pattern
The last string pattern, diamond, shows that the Cloudweaver is skillful at weaving.
None of the patterns have much significant different to each other, nor does it affect the Cloudweaver negatively. Cloudweaver's are never found without a dream catcher wrapped around their tail.
The weaved dream catchers have an item that dangles next to it, to show that the Cloudweaver collects this specific item. There are only 4 known items that Cloudweaver's collect. The marble and feather are most commonly collected for Cloudweaver's, and the reason behind it has not been found yet. The less commonly collected items are gem stones and flowers and, again, the reason has not been found yet as to why. It is possible for some Cloudweaver's to not be interested in collecting items, however this is quite a rare occasion as their nature, in general, allows them to be fascinated by many things.
Cloudweaver's lastly have puffclouds coming from their fur, this is because their fur contains these particles from when they were newborns. The puffclouds can either come from the top of their head down to their neck (Like a horse mane) or be ringed around their ankles. It is more common to find a Cloudweaver with puffclouds coming from their head. Cloudweaver's never have both or no traits as this could overexert them or put them in serious danger, since the puffclouds carry the calming powder they produce.
A Cloudweaver's size is quite small, roughly the size of a domestic cat (Though a tad bit smaller).
