[/center]It was a sunny day in florida, kids swam in the ocean and played in the sand. Yet, there was a trace of fear in the air as word had gotten out about some virus attacking people. Not many took it seriously but others others took it seriously. Unlike a pair of friends who payed not attention to the news. One was a rugged bad boy and the other was the shy but funny girl Jacob Hakens. They where best friends because they had grown up together. One day the virus struck florida and separated the friends for months. Will they find each other or stay apart forever? This is all due to the Walking Dead.[/center]

Sylvester used to be very fun and playful, caring and kind. Growing up kind of took the edge off of his old attitude that he had, even though it was miniscule. But with his life on the line because of the virus? Yeah, that amplified that once microscopic temper of his. At times he can still be kind and understanding, but other's, he's just a contumelious little bad word. He jokes around a bit too much, and uses sarcasm in his words a bit heavily.

Jacob ran out of her house frantically, her blonde hair snapping in the wind. her blue eyes searched around through the dropping bodies as they rose again. She held her book bag close along with her baseball bat. Jacob saw a gap, darting off into the open space. She felt the hands of the dead reach out as her feet slammed on the ground. Once in the safety of the woods Jacob slowed down to a fast walk.

xxxxxThe virus had hit Florida faster than he'd wanted it to. Vee pressed his lips together, gripping onto the mag of a gun he'd picked up from a weaponry shop. He shook his head slowly, backing up and cocking the gun before scaling up the side of the building, cursing his luck over and over. He justhad to lose sight of his friend. Now they were separated. They'd been apart for nearly a week or two now, much to his chagrin. It was all his fault, he knew. She would blame him if they ever met each other again.

xxxxxxThe brunette hissed when his feet landed on the roof with a dull thud, him slowly closing his eyes before opening them, looking out at the skyline of the ruined city that was stretched out in front of him. It was saddening on how such great things would always find a way to fall. He frowned a bit, but didn't mentally add anything. His conscience knew he was right this time.

xxxxxxChewing his lip, King sat down on the ledge, pulling the gun closer to his hip and dragging it slowly onto his lap, it angled downwards and to the streets below. They were empty of anything living. The dead, however? Yeah, now that was a different story. It was nearly infested with the dead. She sighed heavily and shifted a bit, dangling his legs and straightening his spine before letting the gun rest against his thighs, not wanting to draw attention to himself by shooting.

xxxxxxSylvester felt safer on rooftops, mostly because he'd learned that the brainless, soulless creatures below couldn't possibly reach him from up at heights like this.. The only thing he had left to fear was someone - someone living - to mistake him for one of the dead. He hummed a soft song under his breath, murmuring words to himself through the tune he gave.

xxxxxxThe boy finally stood up, walking to the center of the building's roof and finding a trapdoor that led to a staircase. Curious, he opened it and slunk slowly down the staircase, his eyes wide and wary, ears ready to pick up anything unusual that he heard. He frowned some, stopping and staring at the long hallway that stretched before himself. Vee blinked a few times before slowly walking in and down the dimly lit hall.

Jacob sighed gently and climbed up a tree. Her blue eyes started to water when she realized her leg was cut from the calf down. "Jesus... where is Vee when I need him..." she mumbled as tears streamed down her cheeks. (wb)

xxxxxVee glanced down the hall, taking in a deep breath and trekking down it, his gun at ready to shoot anything that moved. He held it up some, squinting slightly and letting out a breath through clenched teeth, him closing his eyes briefly before opening them once more. His heart was in his throat, fire blazing in his stomach as he went through, anxiety eating away at his insides.

Jacob growled in pain as she clumsily sewed it up. Her suturing skills were not the best, admittedly. She jumped down and ran into the city, walking into a small shop hearing a gun click a bullet into place. Jacob walked into the hall, her eyes adjusted to the darkness. "whoa whoa whoa, put that gun down before you hurt someone" she said her pant leg becoming soaked in her own blood.

xxxxxHe shifted his stance, creeping forward quietly, his eyes glinting some. He picked up a figure off in the distance and he took aim, growling lowly until he heard it - her - speak. Walkers couldn't speak, so he lowered his gun. "I believe that's the point!" He called out to the unidentifiable figure.

Jacob growled and limped towards him. "Do you have any medical supplies?" she asked with a tone of pain in her voice. "I had some but when I was separted from my friend i lost all my supplies" Jacob said.
