About Kokoro Dragons;;
- Kokoro Dragons are cat sized mammal-like reptiles. 'Kokoro Dragons' or 'Kokoro ryuu' were named so because their origin was in Japan. Japanese scientists were experimenting with the genetics of an iguana, a possum, and a few other things, and a technicolored little Kokoro Dragon hatched out of an egg. They made more, and they soon became a more common house pet than dogs or cats. Technically, they are not dragons, but they are not mammals, and not marsupials, and not reptiles, or fish, or amphibians, or whatever. They were a new thing, and they decided to call them dragons.
They are called Kokoro Dragons because of the noise they made when elated, 'Doki, Doki, Doki!' which sounds like a violent hiccup, but it's cute. They have extremely long and soft fur, and they don't mind being used as a pillow when their master is sleepy. They have a fluffy mane that goes from their neck to the base of their tail. Their diet consists of man made foods, they have a particular love for carbonated beverages and sweets. Kokoro Dragons are also very intelligent, they will try to communicate with their master when they want something. When they want a soda, they will make a noise that sounds like, 'Bubbly, bubbly'. When they are hungry, they will go, "Nom! Nom!". For most other things, they will make up their own language to get what they need. Rash noises will indicate that they are agitated or annoyed. Kokoro Dragons purr, too. They all have a 'sweet' spot that they love to be petted (where it is will vary from Dragon to Dragon). When you hit the 'sweet' spot, they will become tense, then relax, and then totally phase out and make a rumbling purr noise.
What do they do when they're scared?;;
- Kokoro dragons will roll up like hedge hogs when frightened
and end up looking like a little wad of fur on the ground.
Sleeping habits?;;
- Kokoro Dragons like to find perches to hang off by their tails like possums.
(Of course, they won't object to cuddling to sleep, either.)
Traits and features?;;
- A kokoro's tail is born curly. No matter how hard you might try to straighten it, it will never be strait.
They have fluffy manes that extend from their necks to the base of their tails.
