Personality: Clopin is quite an interesting mercat. While most of the time, his appearance portrays his personality, there are many layers to him. He is usually fun-loving, silly, and always looking to make people laugh. He will make as much a fool of himself as necessary to cheer others up, and is always ready with a witty joke for any situation. It's not uncommon for him to put stick bits of seaweed and pebbles to his tail to make a puppet which he will interact with for laughs.
However, he has a bit of a twisted, split personality. His demeanor can change drastically fast and when he's not entertaining, he can be found plotting far darker ideas. Catch him in a bad mood, or threaten his friends, and you will sorely regret it. When this change comes over him it can be quite frightening, as everything but his demeanor tends to change. Where his voice is usually loud and high, occasionally cracking when he speaks, he suddenly becomes quiet in these moods, his voice dropping several octaves. He moves more slowly, with less eradic loop-the-loops or spins, and there is just... a darker air about him.
But whichever personality he exhibits, once he makes friends with someone, they are friends for life, and he would do anything for them. He loves companionship and always wants to be around those he cares about. He is a loyal friend to the bitter end and nothing will ever change that fact.
