The Appalachian wolves are a legend laid dead. Their Pack was wiped out seasons ago due to a monstrous forest fire, and now the bodies of the wolves lay deep within the Earth out in their smoldering territory. Many died in the fire, either suffocating from all the smoke, or getting burned within the flames and smoldering to ashes. But six survived, strong and courageous wolves who either managed to escape, or used their wits to avoid getting burned by the hungry fire. The beta, the young healer, the warrior, the mother, the hunter, and the omega. They are all powerful together, and though they have their flaws, they even have many strengths to top that off. They are on a quest to find a new territory, to start a new life, and to repopulate their Pack until it's grown to be one of the strongest wolf packs alive, which was their reputation before they got destroyed in the fire. The remaining Appalachian members are survivors by heart, so finding fresh-kill to feed themselves or finding shelter to rest in won't be a problem.

But if anything would destroy these blooded wolves on their journey, it wouldn't be sickness or starvation. It wouldn't be predators or dehydration. Nah, these wolves are too experienced to die from any natural disasters.

If anything would kill them, it would be jealousy and betrayal.
