I am a deer-slug. ♥
it's been decided, none other than me shall be a deer-slug.
I was talking with a friend the other night, and in a fit of hopelessness and helplessness I compared myself to that which is a slug-deer. After a bit of discussion we decided deer-slug was more phonetically pleasing. My exact words you ask? "If my house wasn't quiet and everyone else asleep, and maybe if it wasn't all tile too, I'd be rolling around on the floor all helpless. I'm a helpless slug-deer with not a clue how this works." There you have it, a look into my mind. :V
In all seriousness, I think this will be my new 'sona. Her design may change, I haven't decided quite yet. This is based off a banana slug though. <3
Her name will be Kodi, but she also has many other nicknames derived from "Dakota." (:
Deerslugs are my creation, please NO species theft.
And now for a smidgen on what this species actually is:
-Deerslugs are an odd species of pygmy deer, with slug like tendencies and sometimes appearances. They behave much like normal deer, except tiny form. When frustrated, they lay down and roll about, and if needed to move during a fit, they will scoot their bodies along the ground-surface (whatever they are on) much like a slug. They eat vegetation, primarily, but will often nibble on the remains of human food too, no matter the substance (pastries, candy, sugary sweets, sometimes even meat - but only if it has a good flavor, and they must be careful as to not upset their stomachs when eating meat). They are found in a range of patterns and colors with no limitations, but are most commonly resembled after a slug of any sort, even sea slugs. Other colorations you may find could resemble deer species or other bugs/insects in odd cases. The color of their mouths are pink and fleshy, in rare cases black (such as Chows), and their eyes are bright like gemstones or dewdrops. Personality-wise they are typically jolly critters, but like most animals have their off and upset days. Feeding them a sugary treat (honey is the best, or nectar) should perk them up in about 2 hours when caught behaving in an unusually sad manner. Please also note they are very social, and if left alone for long periods of time, extreme sadness can occur and symptoms of depression may be evident.
Thank you! ♥ Kodi: -frolics about and eats caramel Ghirardelli squares-
P.S. This is my 1000th oekaki! -dances-
