If you are planning on making a very dark cat; set the "Shading" layer to multiply, instead of substract. Also, feel free to mess with the opacity of the lines/shading.
EDIT: There was something off about it... I dunno... I might redo this template... I just don't like it. *sigh*... I messed with the eyes a bit... but I'm still not sure. There's something odd about this one, but I can't quite place my finger on it.
To color: Select the layer that says "COLOR HERE", and look at the top of the layers box. There should be a box, and then the words, "Lock Alpha". Click that box. Now you won't have to worry about getting out of the lines! Be as messy as you want, and it will stay in the lines
