Well... anyone can make a squishy, and you're generally just adding pre-made patterns and colors. Really, the main point is selling the design. And... your designs are just kinda... plain :c. I would suggest adding themes and zest to each design, making them unique and different, such as wings and stripes and strange markings. Try using the smudge and blending tools as well to create smoothness. Others can be rigid if you'd like.
