Hello, and welcome to the P.M.E. lab!

What's a P.M.E.?
A P.M.E. is a Pony Mix Experiment. They are made here in the lab, by mixing pony DNA with other animals'.

What do they do?
They simply swap between pony, the animal they are mixed with and original form.

Do they have cutie marks?
No, they have only a species tag. It shows up only on pony and original form.

Do they have powers?
Nope, unless a unicorn pony or if mutated, but we don't usually do that.


Mutated?
A P.M.E. can be mutated accidentally or not. The only known mutations are: a- if a pony was mixed with two or more animals. In this case, the P.M.E. can switch between all these animals forms, and keep the characteristics of them all. b- if we change the DNA so the PME will have powers.

Can they breed?
Not naturally. But there's science for this! By combining genes from two ponies, we can have a "baby", containing traits from both parents.

Are you making breedings?
Not yet. When enough ponies are adopted I will.

How does the adoption work?
These are blind adopts. You'll see a cell of the pony. Then you fill the form and wait. At the end of the competition, the artist will show the whole pony.

How much does every pony cost?
These are completly free!

Will you do customs?
Yes, one out of every 10 ponies will be a custom.

Can we gift/readopt PME?
Yes, but you must talk with me and with the artist first.

Can we suggest mixes?
Yes, I'd be glad if you do!


Rules

[*]You cannot change your PME species tag, colors or mane lengh, but changing hairdos is fine

Rare mixes

Having a limit, rare mixes have another count. This count can't be more than 20% of the current adopt count. Rare mixes are mixes with "mythical" animals, some being rarer than others. While unicorns and pegasi are common, chymeras are rare, for example.
Artists are allowed to make one rare mix a month, each. Guest artists must PM me before doing these. Customs cannot be rare mixes.
