A Foxerfly is a fox-like creature that is rather small. They are about the size of the average house cat. Their very unique feature is the pair of wings on their back that allows them to fly unlike any other four-legged being. There are three different types of wings of a Foxerfly that resemble wings of insects.

Dragonfly and
Bee

Occasionally their wings will be different to others, but it is rare in the average Foxerfly. Their diet consists of everything a normal fox would eat; berries, eggs, small rodents, fruit, and they may chew on various crops. They are shy and extremely secretive among creatures of different kinds, so they are not seen often.

Who is Kalani?

When Kalani was a young Foxerfly she had a hard time making friends. She never knew what to say or how to approach someone. She was very shy, and though she wanted friends, she had no idea how to find them. This continued on into her teenage years, until she met another caring Foxer who became her friend and showed her how to make friends of her own. Kalani learned that instead of looking for friendships with other Foxers in order to meet her own needs, she should seek friendships in which she will be giving to meet the needs of others. Others who, like her, were hurting and needed a friend to show them that they do have worth, they do have value. And even though her shyness will always be a part of who she is, this was the most valuable lesson that Kalani ever learned. When her parents saw their little girl come aglow as she learned how to be a friend, and realized that this was her talent, they gave her her star charm, symbolizing the light she brought into the lives of her new friends.
Kalani is a dreamer. She's constantly got her head in the clouds, imagining what it would be like if ____ happened. The endless possibilities excite and enchant her, and sometimes she ever writes about her imaginary adventures in her journal. The sky brings her endless wonder, and she often pictures herself flying up into space and walking among the stars.

Why does she wear her ribbons?;

Her big sister is a rhythmic gymnast and especially loves ribbon twirling. When she received a new ribbon, she cut her old one into smaller pieces to wear as accessories. She gave some to Kalani, who treasures them with all her heart and would never take them off.

Why she wears her ribbons;

Stella wears her ribbons because of their sentimental value. When she was little, her mom used to make these ribbons, selling them for a small amount of money that kept them going. They were the last ribbons her mother made before passing away unexpectedly, and she has worn them without removing them since. She has since carried on with the buisiness, but more for a hobby than a job. It's her connection with her past, the only family Stella ever knew.

Her name is Firefly, but she is sometimes called "Little bug" or Bee (it was going to be stardust but then i saw there was another foxer named stardust :p)

What color are her ribbons?
They are a dark blueish purple color, like the night sky (the font is the color it would be). They have a little bit of gradient in random spots to give it more character.

Why does she wear her ribbons?
When she was little her mom made a mobile that was a ribbon at the top and had little celestial things dangling down. She loved it so much she wears similar ribbons with little stars attached!

About Stardust:
Firefly is a very sweet and child-like foxerfly. She is smart and will be mature when needed, but she is naturally more playful and sweet like a child. She has a very innocent feel to her and she loves to play and fly around with her friends, and she will always be ready to make new ones! She can be over trusting, and not cautious enough, but that is just the way she is.
