A Hōtai Dragon is a short, bandaged unidentified creature. Hōtai stands for Bandage in japan, and dragon simply stands for unidentified creature. The Hōtai dragons can be called 'HDs' or 'Bandis'. Diet? These little dracos love to eat fruit, and occasionally meat.
The Bandages that Hotai dragons have each have there own meaning to depending on where the Bandage is placed. Around the mouth for Respect, Around the neck for Loyalty, Around the Back paw for Patience, Around the tail for Honor and around the Front paw for trust. They will earn them as they grow up for for holding each trait the Bandage is for. The oldest in there family is the one who decides whens one has earned a bandage. More Bandages a Hotai dragon has, More Respect it will get from others.
