Here is the making of this project.
Day one:
Day one in this project was simple. I had to think out the idea. So, I sketched out the plans. I came to the conclusion that the tiger will be posed on the left side of the picture and having him stare out into the right side of the painting. In the space I had, I planed out to have 'Jazz The Colorful Tiger' running up and down. The tiger would be white with rainbow colors for the strips. That would represent the colorful part of the tiger. The tiger would be laying down, though you wouldn't notice from the angle. But then I had to find out the expression on his face. At first, I wanted to have ttiger angery, but then I changed my mind. The expression on the face would have to link to the user. The user wasn't angery so I had to change that part. A cute or happy face just doesnt go with tigers. Then, I figured the tiger would blankly stare out onto the words since I couldn't find an expression.

Day two:
Day two was more of a research day. I figured that some background on tigers could form the art better. A site that seemed to help me the most was http://www.defenders.org/tiger/basic-facts. It gave me some basic facts that could help my art. Tigers normally hunt at night so the background of my drawing would maybe have to be night. But with a colorful tiger, the sunny day background seemed to fit. The tiger would live in woodlands to rocky county sides to grasslands. I choose the grassland for the background because it also seemed to fit happiness the piece shows. I also learned that tigers use their body weight to knock prey to the ground and kills with a bite to the neck. They are also very good swimmers and have been known to kill prey while swimming. This information may not help the project but I know how the tiger lives in life.

Day three:
On day three, I looked up pictures. The picture I found shows the pattern of the strips. The head of the tiger in my piece is the same way this face is pointing to. This drawing is not mine but I will be going of the head. As you can tell, the piece looks very similar to this art. Again, I do not own this.

Day four:
Day four was when I sketched out the tiger.

(this is the image that I used to help we draw this)
After I sketched everything out, I did the grass land background. Then I colored in the strips. That was when my sister wrote the words because I have bad hand writing.
