Answer: Notch's favorite color would have to be brown. While he enjoys all colors, brown tops them all. Though it may seem dull to others, he loves the mixed color of the earth and trees.
Notch's attention to detail made him consider the ground he walked on more carefully, and he found that he is very fond of the earth and its color, both for what it provides and represents as well as the fact he just has an affinity for brown. This pull towards it and nature came about as he realized how this color was an undiscovered gem in the world and was constantly popping up everywhere he looked. Notch oftentimes annoys those around him as he tends to roll, lay, and play in mud and dirt to better enjoy his earth and his color brown.
