Very very old; she has been around as long as children have been afraid of the dark.
What phobia is she based off of?
Nyctophobia
~The stars only come out when it's dark~
Background Story:
She cannot remember how old she is; she was thought up by possibly the first child. She is the fear of the dark ~ the stars only come out in the dark. She does not understand; she is not dark. Stars are tiny beacons of light in that darkness. Unfortunately, the children only see the darkness. Why only children? She loves children, and is hoping someday she will find one who is not afraid of her. She had become discouraged, and as of late has taken to enjoying frightening younger children.

Astrophobia~ The fear of stars or celestial space
Background Story:
Isis always knew she was going to be a nightmare. Even when she was a limbo, she knew. Isis loves bringing fear to all, especially those with Astrophobia. One of her favorite tricks to play is creating a mental picture of stars and space suddenly exploding inside of her victim's head. That one special trick is what caused her to meet her mate who is a known trickster and prank king. Isis is probably one of the most friendly that you could possibly get a nightmare to be. But don't let that fool you, she still is a nightmare and will scare you to no end.

may add more. (Sorry about the fail of a background story, the whole Limbo thing to me makes it that neither nightmare nor daydream really have a background.... really sorry about that. I might edit the background story if I have enough time^.^)
