The literal translation for "Qen" is "Dog," but of course, there's more to a Qen than simply that.
Qens are genetically engineered, doglike creatures. They are engineered to have a variety of mutations, ranging from different ear and horn types, to completely different wing structures. No two Qens are identical.
Every Qen will have wings or winglike structures, doglike ears, a large or decorative tailtip, and many have horns
Qens were originally created to be the "perfect species;" and with lengthy, strong legs, specially adapted horns, rudderlike tails, and curved claws, they almost lived up to the standard.
But no Qen bred in the laboratory was perfect. Some had bad habits, some were silly or playful, others adapted unwanted traits such as stout, jagged horns, useless "wings," or even hooves. So the scientists abandoned the experiment, setting the Qens free in the wild to die off naturally. After all, an animal raised in captivity would be useless in the wild, right?
Wrong. They thrived in the wild in small family groups called clusters. Every now and then, the caretaker, Oly, will find a lonely Qen in the wild that is willing to come with her and find a loving home. Female Qens will be very shy, while many male Qens will be slightly more aggressive. If you can win a Qen's heart, you will surely go far with them.

Qens typically stand at 5.5-6 feet at the shoulders, and are usually around 18-24 feet long, including the tail. Their wingspan, if they have proper wings, is around 24 feet. Their tail makes up over half of their overall length; reaching an impressive 11-13 feet in length. They have short legs compared to their body length, but are surprisingly powerful runners and jumpers. The average Qen can reach speeds of up to 80 MPH for short bursts, and can jump about twice their body length from a moving start and 1.2 times their body length from a standing start (without using their wings for a boost) These traits are nothing, compared to their flight speeds, however
Qens can fly at around 200 MPH for short bursts, but a few very fast Qens can reach speeds of up to 300 MPH. Qens lacking wings cannot fly, but they are significantly faster runners than Qens with wings, striking the average speed of 130 MPH running.
Qens are extremely intelligent. They can be taught to read complex sentences and even books (if they have enough patience!) Sadly, though, most Qens are extremely stubborn, impatient, or just plain uninterested in learning. With the right treats and enough coaxing from the right caretaker, however, even the most headstrong, impatient Qen can learn.

Qens might sound like the god-mods of animal species, but they have many weaknesses to accompany their strengths.
Qens tend to be either very smart, or very athletic. You can't really have the best of both worlds here.
Qens do not have any magic power, and are very weak against parapsychological attacks.
They are only somewhat strong. They can be specially bred to be physically powerful, but most Qens are runners/flyers.

Qens reach maturity at 3 years (15 days). Qens in the wild taken in to the Care Center are always mature or older when available to be adopted out. However, you may breed your Qens to take care of a little pup.
Qens can breed male-male, female-female, or male-female, the gender doesn't matter. Breeding costs an uncommon pet per baby Qen. To breed your Qens fill out the form.

Your Qen can age after 15 days. The gender choosing is random, you cannot choose the gender of your baby Qens.
You can also buy a PPS potion or an aging potion if you have (Or want to have) a PPS Qen. PPS potions and aging potions cost one uncommon pet each.
