There are three main species, each with a different appearance:
- Pegaseers resemble winged horses, but they possess a third eye which enables them to interact with the multi-dimensional spirits that they share a moon with. Their manes also have a more gaseous quality to them, and the more high-ranking Pegaseer's manes give off a dull light, with the Empress' mane being so bright that those that look upon it directly are blinded on sight. Pegaseers live a fairly solitary existence, with most living alone on a moon, which is why each Pegaseer claims a spirit as a companion and guardian. Pegaseers usually communicate through telepathy and are talented mind readers, which frustrates the ocean-dwellers, as in their society, mind reading is considered intrusive and rude and is only practiced by social piranhas pariahs.
- Equipes are fish-like ocean-dwellers, and are able to breath both on land and in water, although they are much more clumsy on land. The Equipes are a very sociable race and live in vast colonies, or "shoals", as they call them. Although they might change colonies to be with a loved one, they still hold a huge loyalty to their own. You can tell from what colony a equipes was from based on their markings. Horned Equipes, or Unipes, are the most common species and are usually workers or farmers, using their weak telekinesis to help build things. Higher-ranking Equipes have no horns, except for the soldiers, who use telekinesis to fight off enemy attackers.
- Equipi are fully aquatic ocean-dwellers, living under the frozen ice of the south, which makes them a very mysterious and hard to document species. They are a very violent race, both with the Equipes and with each other. Both the Equipes and the Pegaseers steer well clear of the Equipi, as they are known for being extremely unfriendly with foreigners. However, not all Equipi have violent tendencies, and many live a peaceful existence. it's just the vocal minority which give them a bad name. also their scary looking teeth and tentacles don't exactly give off a cute and cuddly vibe.
You can adopt an Equilaquarain simply by filling out one of the forms below. Each week, new Equilaquarians will be put up for adoption. The Equilaquarians are very picky, and will only go with the person who trys the most with the form, so a half-hearted 3 sentence reply isn't going to cut it!
