Jewel Patched Ponies are pretty much PPS ponies. They have patched patterns but rarely have none and are rarely naturally coloured. Each pony has a jewel to represent them that are usually single coloured and uncommonly multicolored. They are born the size of a finger nail and grow to the size of a kitten, but they all ways foal twins unless there is an extremely unlucky mare who foals a single foal. This will only occur if the pony's jewel is black.
