new mlp:fim OC. my first male pony, a quiet little guy named Sycamore.

from the small, secluded town of Hollow Shades, Sycamore was used to a peaceful, uneventful life. he aced school and found his talent rather quickly--writing about the different aspects of the natural world. he loved to go and explore in the woods that surrounded the village, and spent most of his days absorbing what he saw and heard. as a teenager he wrote for local newspapers and magazines, becoming somewhat well-known to others who read his articles. in general he's a shy pony, preferring to keep to himself and let his writing do the rest. he'll talk when needed, however, and most of the time he is polite and friendly.

species;; pegasus/earth pony cross, retained pegasus traits from mother, though his father was an earth pony
talent;; writing stories and articles about different natural events or objects, such as origin of photosynthesis or what animals live in what type of forest, etc. also enjoys hiking and just about any sort of exploration into untamed land, for viewing plants as well as animals.
