There's obviously some background to why I chose this name for her. When I first saw her I fell in love with the bold colors of the tail and of her face. But as I continued to stare at her this song came to mind as my eyes followed the pale, almost glowing blue lines on her body. This softness of them and how they seemed to form wings as well as a dreamy, swirling look made the line "I'll sweep the star dust for you" play over and over again in my head. Thus, the name Starsweep came to mind. I tried several other names but nothing else stuck like Starsweep did. To me she is a wandering angel with the dust of the stars floating all around her. Even with all of her vibrant colors I can still envision her sleepily lying on a cloud. Sorry I rambled so much. But these are all reasons why I would name her Starsweep.
