So I went withe the whole tribal theme, I hope that's okay. The eyes look a bit like tomato juice, I can change them to a lighter orange or yellow if you want, I wasn't sure what to do, exactly, but I think the tribal designs turned out OK. They are pretty mush a mix of the examples you gave and my imagination. I did my best to make the heart not look too girly, I think that turned out alright. Maybe I should add a splash of blue to the ears, or do you think they are fine?
^Those are just things I thought you might want me to change, nothing that has to happen or anything.
Anyway, tell me what you think! I am pretty proud of this one.

He is a calmer guy, very relaxed and cool. He prefers the night over the day though.

Well, neon colored. Maybe yellow and orange/red. Should be very contrasting to the fur.
