No, I didn't misunderstand the mod's instructions for this week's Oekaki Challenge. The instructions were as follows: "Week #6: Draw you or your OC being a tourist in your favorite city/country or just someplace you'd like to visit!
You could draw you or your character anywhere in the world; exploring pyramids in Egypt, catching butterflies in the Amazon rainforest, munching on sushi in Japan... wherever you want to go!
Please try to pick a country/city which is real, and which your character could visit now in 2013."

While the instructions were clear about using your own OC being a tourist in a country, I truly CANNOT draw backgrounds very well...especially life-like backgrounds. So instead of spending hours on something I knew I wouldn't be pleased with, I decided to draw my OC, Bookie, pointing to a map of Ireland. Yes, she's wearing glasses similar to Twilight's - no, they're not her normal glasses. X) Also, I do own turquoise spider earrings that are similar to the ones I put on my ponysona in this picture - yes, they do only have 6 legs, and are not anatomically correct. XD In spite of this, I still love the earrings, as my brother gave them to me as a present...and I love holiday-themed jewelry, as well as turquoise and other shades of blue. And, seeing as October is coming up, I thought it appropriate to place my ponysona in a different set of earrings than I normally put her in.

I've always wanted to go to Ireland - my first name is Irish, even though my family is German, Welsh, and English (British). My family DOES have redheads - I'm not one of them, unfortunately, as I LOVE red hair - so I might have Irish somewhere WAY BACK in my family's ancestral line/family tree.

Please read the quote below before you start complaining about how big or dark my sig is.

I really like it! You did awesome on the colors and her hair and the backround! But I've got one question: Why is the signature so big? Not trying to sound rude or anything, just wondering...

I don't want art theft. I always do a darker and larger sig ontop of the others so I'm COMPLETELY covered. If someone DOES decide to steal it, they would have to remove the sig. Which is harder than it sounds.

yeah, i wish you did a smaller signature, it wold have distracted us less from the picture. but anyways, its really good! i <3 MLP!!!

Yeah, I've gotten that a lot. X) But I still keep 'em on my pics. Protects 'em a bit more.

Anyway, glad you guys like it! After working so hard, it's nice to get some appreciation.
