This may not be my best artwork overall, but I think it is my best digital artwork. I sketched this traditionally before I drew it here, which proved to be a great idea.
Anyway, I decided to finish this today since I am now in a higher end art college! Whoo! Let's not show the professors this

About the Shima Long-Tailed Multistaff Dog: I love this pet! This is ultimately my favorite pet over all. I have acquired over thirty (yes, 30) of these in my time. Sadly, I traded most of those away to people willing to overpay greatly for them (up to a Cake Dog!). I would personally pay that much for them if I did not have the audacity to stop myself first; the Shima Long-Tailed Multistaff Dog has given me profit in its demand, and trading it for its maximum mean value is a loss of value (unless I get lucky).
So, this pet gives me admiration and profit! Love and money...what else is there? I just cherish this design almost as much as I love wolves (BLASPHEMY!).
I know shima_luan retired, but if you somehow get this message...I want you to know that your design has helped many. First, it inspired me to remain on ChickenSmoothie; I would not be a member since the middle of 2012 if this pet had not existed, I bet. I have gifted several people, meaning that this design has indirectly helped them as well. This pet holds its place in many people's hearts and nighttime dreams (or is the latter just me?) just by its remarkable patterns and design. I love this pet...and I thank you sincerely for the design. Yes, it's just pixels...but...whatever!
...alright, that's probably creeping somebody out, lol. I should also say what I did here in case you like the idea or wonder what I did wrong. I decided to use the Dodge tool at size 1 and opacity 64 to create short, varied streaks where fur needed emphasis (such as the entire tail). I made certain body parts on certain layers in order to make the fur easier to create at the sides. For example, the tail and back-left leg were on Layer 3, the lower body and front right leg were on Layer 4, and so on. For the background, I placed a large circle, used the finger-smudge-thing tool at opacity 215 and size 30, and pulled out from the center in each direction. Since the tool checks the pixels behind it instead of the pixel I clicked first, it does not matter where I start in the circle. For the sharp edges and edge fur, I used the finger-smudge-thing tool at opacity 255 (full opacity) and size 1. I used a Wacom Intuos 4 XL for the entire project. The time stamp may be off.
Thank you for viewing my art! Please feel free to give me constructive criticism; I do not want "THIS SUCKS LOOK AT THE WINGZ" but rather "The feathers on her wings looks a bit rough; I would use the Blender tool." Wings are just an example, of course.
(Design belongs to shima_luan, of course.)
OK, here it goes...my first Oekaki...clicking "Submit" in 3...2...1...
