Milky way kits are foxes with a flowy galaxy tail.
Their orbs contain the essence of their galaxies. Their bodies are
slightly transparent and stars dot their bodies.
They are ethereal beings, but they love to mess
with people and play tricks. According to legend,
Milky way kits are believed to have come
from the stars , leaving a trail of colorful dust and stars
behind them as they moved across the universe. They mainly
live in forested areas and natural areas,
though at times they may wander in to
populated regions. Milky Way Kits have a sense
of community, leading to some creating their own "packs".
Packs generally consist of three to five kits, with one being the
Alpha. There may be, at times, a fight for dominance, but usually
the Alpha position is passed down from father to son.
Milky way kits have bright, colorful tails with many different colors.
Their tails are rarely pure black or pure white. Their orb color matches
the colors of their tails and never mismatches, as a part of their tails
is rumored to be enclosed in the orb. They are very protective of this orb
and breaking or stealing one is considered treachery. Those who steal or
break orbs and generally shunned by their pack and banished. Orbs that
are broken can never be repaired; simply leaking colorful dust out of
the damaged area.
Their diet usually consists of fruits and meat, though mainly fruit
because their bright tails tend to give them away when they try to
hunt. Females are the main hunters and gatherers of the pack,
but a weak male or young kit may join them.
Despite their mischievous nature, they are faithful creatures
and when they find a mate they stick with them for life.
Their love for their mates is endless, just like the universe is
endless. They can sometimes have relationship problems,
but this is very rare.

Welcome to the Milky Way Kits Nursery!
If you wish to breed your kits to produce younger kits, this is the place to go! We do have rules, however, so as long as you follow them everything will be okay. If you want to adopt adult kits, please go to the main thread. From time to time we may have "orphan" kits, or young kits lost from their families upon descending to Earth, but this will not be too often right now.
Rules
1. Do not breed your kit with another kit WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM THE OWNER.
2. When breeding, you have a chance at getting 1-2 kits. No more than that. Two kits is NOT guaranteed.
3. Do NOT request a breeding from an artist whose slots are closed.
4. Kits may breed once every four weeks.
5. Do NOT ask to be apart of the nursery staff.
6. Be respectful to the artists.

Breeding forms and information
Special kits : Special kits are kit born with wings, horns, or any other feature not normally found on them. Their genes may pass on to their children. HOWEVER, if their children do inherit their special trait, their children will not inherit it. Wings, horns, etc may only be inherited by direct descendants of special kits.
These genes are VERY RARE, so you will not be guaranteed a winged kit if you breed your special kit. Do not complain if you do not end up with a winged kit.
NG kits, or "never growing" kits are kits that stay in their child stage forever. They will never grow. Besides this, NG kits have no special abilities whatsoever. They are also VERY RARE, so again you are not guaranteed one. NG kits cannot breed.

Breeding options
When you have a successful breeding, you have three different options;;
1. Keep the kit (Or one if there are two kits).
2. Gift the kit to somebody else.
3. Adopt the kit out.
When you adopt the kit out, let the artist know thats what you'll be doing. The artist will then say which is up for adoption. YOU WILL BE THE JUDGE. However, if you decide you don't have time to judge, you can ask the artist or someone else to judge for you. You also make the form. Genders are decided by the artist, so the only necessary part of the form is really the kit name.
Once you decide to adopt the kit out, you CANNOT change your mind.
Orphan kits
Orphan kits are kits who were separated from their parents upon arrival. Therefore, they have no parents, but they end up in the nursery. Adopting an orphan kit is just like adopting an adult. The only difference is that they will appear in the nursery.
Aging
When your kit is two weeks old, you may age your kit to an adult. You can do it yourself OR ask the original artist to do it for you. Once you age your kit, you MUST wait another two weeks before they can breed.
