What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

++Reason for choosing the name: well, uh, it means despair in japanese, and since it's a Japanese game centered around hope/despair, there you go... Z E T S U B O U

+what is this mutato's SHSL title and why? super high school level hope. Even though his name means despair, he's determined to overcome that and become a symbol of hope. He thinks that a name is just a name, and that it shouldn't define who you are, and because he has such hope within him, he was given the talent of super high school level hope.

Super High School Level disguise artist. He has trained himself to be untrackable, it is nearly impossible for others to find him, so a mutual killing may not be such a hard thing for him...upupupu.

celestia is [was? since she's dead and all. dammit.] my favourite character. besides having an insanely cool character design [that finger spike, though], i honestly thought that she was going to be the one to survive when i first played the game. she's known as the "queen of liars", first of all - and hey, how many of the other characters have an epitaph like that? - which definitely gave her an advantage over the other students. she's known world-wide for her ability to con people out of their money, so what was stopping her from conning people out of their lives? since she's also a gambler, she knows how to stay calm and collected under pressure - during the school trials, for example. she totally should have made it out alive. ;w; and hey, i know she's dead, but i'm proud of her because she definitely didn't go down easily. i decided to name this mutato 'King of Liars' after celestia; just because she's gone doesn't mean she'll be forgotten.

+What is this mutato's SHSL title and why?:
this mutato is a SHSL criminal. not only would he have a skill-set that even celes would be proud of, but he'd also be famous for a different reason than your conventional SHSL people. typically, you have your SHSL idols, models, athletes, programmers, etc. [oh gosh i miss chihiro so much ;w;], but, strangely enough, there isn't a SHSL bank robber, escape artist or anything like that. the only type of criminal you do get is genocider syo, the SHSL murderer - and how crazy would it be if you had a genocider-syo-turned-mutato coming after you?

++i based the name after the ending theme of the anime; zetsubousei: hero chiryouyaku / despairity: a hero's treatment. i thought it fit for such a mutato, considering the body will be of the masochist teddy bear monobear, of which is controlled by shsl despair junko enoshima.
+shsl trigger-happy ;; monobear was always quick to punish. he found pleasure in the executions of the students, constantly getting bored when waiting for a murder to occur. i decided this was a fitting title for zetsubousei as it portrays his personality as death-hungry and quick-to-decide, like monobear.
