1. The king cobra is venomous
2. it is one of the longest venomous snakes in the world
3. the flaps on it's neck are called a hood
4. when threatened it opens it's hood
5. if the attacker does not go away it will strike
6.king cobras lay eggs
7.they can not spit their venom, but a spitting cobra can
8. their scales are smooth and circular, because they do not climb trees.
9. their belly is made of rectangular smooth scales, which helps them move along the ground easily.
10. a king cobra is more brown unlike the spitting cobra which is more grey
