It's taken me years of drawing to get my art to look like that, and I still need to work on my speed. XD
Practice makes perfect, I've doodled about once a day on sketch paper ever since before this equid drawing,
and look how far I've gotten. OuO You just gotta keep at it, you'll eventually get there,
even if you don't realize it at first. ;D <333

Then one day, you'll be thumbing through your sketches, find a really old one,
and go all "asjefbadfgsfw my art's actually improved... TTuTT *dies*"

I recovered my first equid drawing, ever, estimated creation time around the end of 2011,
from a pile of old sketches a few months ago, and legit made this face:

And seriously, Gos, your backgrounds, they're too amazing, they make mine look like crap (well they are crap, but they make them look like a 5 year old attacked my drawings)......XD
