Run Boy, Run

Postby Scarlip » Thu Aug 08, 2013 10:47 am

"Run boy run! This ride is a journey to
Run boy run! The secret inside of you
Run boy run! This race is a prophecy
Run boy run! And disappear in the trees"

~Woodkid

Eeeeep guess who finally got pen pressure on Oekaki! 8D

After a long time of artistic abandonment I felt like it was time to draw Leeto again. :3
I got the idea for the pose listening to the song that the quote above is from. ^^

Frankly I have no idea how long this actually took. The timer is definitely wrong but it did take lots of time as I experimented with the shading/light reflex and in the middle of it got pen pressure which led to even more experiments. xD

No ref used, I just looked at some pictures of shining equine coat to get a feeling for the way it blends on the coat.

Oh my Gawd that is just amazingly Beautiful *_*
Love it
How would you like to enter my Species Contest?
I'm in the middle of working on a Species, Trying to add Features as people Enter, just so far one, but I'm still thinking on Rather I should or not add a Horn of any kind?

But I'd love for you to enter <3

Features
Horse like Creature but thinking since it already looks partly Dragon Feature in it with the face and Tail, also the Tail makes me think allot Mystical, thinking if it look okay with a Unicorn horn :/
But then it would be basically to much like a unicorn :P

but hey PM me, Sorry don't me to say to much on your post but my gawd this is beautiful

Thank you ^^
I'll definitely go and look into your competition, though I'm not sure if I'll have time to enter. If you need advice on the concept, for example with the horn/s, feel free to pm me, I'd love to help :)
