Pom-Pom Deer are just what they look like... deer! This odd species comes from an incredibly remote island near the equator with several glaciers that miraculously made their way to the sandy banks. Due to this, all water within a mile or so of the island is incredibly cold, but the mainland is fairly tropical and extremely hot at times. This is where the Pom-Pom Deer's soft, downy patches of fluff come from, keeping them warm when needed, and otherwise airy enough to withstand hot temperatures on the island. The rest of their fur is the same stuff you'd find on any old deer. So far, the species is quite shy, and will only approach those who really try to capture their attention.

Ah, it's quite simple! Just find a Pom-Pom Deer you like, click on it, and read the artist's requirements for adopting. This usually means filling out a form of some sort, but sometimes, it'll be the first to give it a name, or a short riddle, etc. However, watch out, as some Pom-Pom deer aren't for adoption! These will be marked as such in the description.
