Unlike the other species you may see commonly around oekaki, you are able to pit your WET in staff-hosted battles! We have creating a special lineart for these battles so you can battle your WETs easily without confusion. But you'll want to learn about battles before they come out, won't you?

- >> WETs are assigned points
weak; 2 pts || intermediate; 4 pts || strong; 6 pts
>> To Battle, we will have a special lineart made showing two WETs.
The two WET being battled will be colored in by an artist and that thread is where the battle will be held.
>> The WET's point amount will be calculated
There will be two WET in battle. If Taphante 1 (T1) & Taphante 2 (T2)'s amount of points are within 3 points of each other, a die will be evenly split. T1 will be assigned all even numbers on the die and T2 all odd numbers. The artist will roll the die and whichever number comes up determines the winner.
If the amount of points between T1 & T2 is larger than 3 it is different. If there is a gap of 4 points then the Taphante with the lower amount of points will only be assigned two numbers. If the gap is 6 points, the lower-scored Taphante will only be assigned 1 number from the die, dramatically decreasing their chances of winning. Again the die is rolled and whoever's number shows up wins.
>> After the battle
The winner gets 2 pts added onto their battle score, the loser 1. They must wait a week before being battled again, with any other WET.
CERTAIN SPECIALTIES HAVE MORE POINTS!
>> Generic Water/Puddle, Rain, and Dew have the normal amount of points.
>> Whirlpool and Mist have +1 point to everything. These are rarer & more powerful specialties, hence more points.
RULES
>> once there is a nursery, pregnant WET cannot battle. (children can't either)
>> you must have owned the WET for at least 1 week before battling.
>> consent from both owners of the WET must be showed plainly (screenshot, a post, during a JM, etc.)
>> only two WET can be pitted at a time; no 3-way battles.

If you would like to, you can organize to have your WET 'train' against one of the Training WET in order to gain points. You must be on the same strength level as the trainer WET to apply.
