Just a normal teenager, living a normal life. Until you met an abnormal world.

You were walking home from school when it happened. No one was around. A portal opened up in front of you. Perhaps it was a gaping hole in the sky that sucked you in. Perhaps you stumbled through a tree. However you fell through, you're here now. But where's here?

Good question.

About the new dimension:
- It is all white. There is nothing there as far as you can tell. In fact, you can't tell where the horizon is.
- Sometimes, there are random [invisible] portals. Usually, they'll only take you about 100 yards away at most.
- Thoughts are enhanced. For example, if you wanted to slap someone, your hand might start blinking red or something. This can happen in many different ways. Be creative and have fun with this.
- It is possible to start gaining powers, but please make it very subtle, gradual, and as un-mary-sue-like as possible.

Rules:
- Follow Tess' rules. [no powerplay, fade to black, etc.]
- Please no cussing. It's unnecessary, but if you feel it adds to your character, please star out the whole word.
- Please don't go more than 5 pages without me! I apologize for not being able to be on as often as some people, but I don't have a phone, and my life can get busy.
- You must write at least 3 lines per post. At least. (But please don't type like two big paragraphs; I don't have the time to read all of that...)
- Try to keep the genders even enough. I'll be somewhat slack on this, but please don't have there be like 8 girls and 2 boys.
- Only one character per person. Sorry.
- I know the world is kind of vague and can get confusing. If you are uncertain about ANYTHING, please don't hesitate to ask!

Personality: Karey is a troublemaker who loves to have fun with people. She loves talking to people sarcastically for no reason, pulling pranks, and just messing with everyone in general. She's not afraid to be touchy-feely - in order to play with others' emotions. Sometimes she can't tell whether she likes or dislikes someone, and often can't tell how they feel about her either, so relationships are a bit tricky for her. She won't open up, but she'll do almost anything to open anybody else up, often just for fun!
History: Not the most fascinating. Her parents divorced when she was 3, so she hardly remembers it. She lives with her single mom and an orange tabby cat unoriginally named Cheeto.

Personality: Leah isn't a very social person, while on the outside she seem cold and standoffish the reality is she's not sure how to interact with other people. Always over thinking things has caused her to be a severe pessimist. Leah is very much like a puppy who normally looks all mopey but if you smile at her and such she'll perk right up.
History: Leah has moved from foster home to foster home, her own parent's giving her up when she was a baby. Not really blaming her birth parents for anything she just went with the flow of things.
