What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Symphony

Reason for choosing the name:
Well I have been around music my entire life. My parents even met in band. I've played piano for 8 years, trumpet for 6, and saxophone for 2. Through out all my years of music, the best experience I ever had was when I was in the all state symphony orchestra. There for since this little guy is the best, I decided to name him something reminding me of my best time in my music career. C:

Limerick:
Flying high above the world,
Music danced and curled.
As the rhythms flew,
And the emotion grew,
The magic symphony unfurled.

(Sorry I'm no poet )

Extra- Theme song/why I choose it:
Symphony's theme song is Clair De Lune by Claude Debussy. I choose this piece because of the way it flows perfectly. I feel like this little guy is perfect and there for the perfect piece is necessary.

♫ Reason for choosing the name;; There's this character from Uta No Prince Sama named Ren, and he has a passion for singing and playing the saxophone. When I saw this Mutato, I instantly thought of him. He's a total flirt, and seems to be carefree to the point of arrogance, and at first it seems like he does not care to sing at this academy, but then someone gets him to realize that.. about how important it is to him, that he couldn't have realized alone. His name is Ren Jinguuji, so I decided to name this mutato after him, except Ren J. He has a passion for his saxophone, and when he plays, it's like a whole new world has taken place.

Who didn't quite know back then,
the power he had,
to make people glad,
but now he knows that he can.

Reason for choosing the name:
I chose this name because reeds are a universal part of all saxophones, as well as because this mutato is partially based off of a sax. It seemed like a very cute, and yet musical name for a musical mutato.

His love for jazz music was true
For he'd listen all day
to the musicians play
And never grew tired of a tune

♪♪ Reason for choosing the name

Firstly, this Mutato instantly reminded me of my beau Jon. He played both soprano and alto saxophone in our band so immediately, this little guy made me think of him. He used to play on the "worst Jupiter product created", his old student alto sax. He absolutely hated that poor thing. When Jon and I first played together, our show was "The Planets", set to the music of Gustav Holst and his arrangement inspired by each heavenly body. In the band's opinion, the best section of the show was called "Jupiter, The Bringer of Jollity." It had a recognizable melody that both the saxophones and clarinets (my instrument) played together. Jon agreed that the show was his favorite out of any he had done. So, in more words than expected, I want to try out for this Mutato remembering my beau and the music we played together.

A Mutato knows how to soar
But this little one wanted more
So he picked up a 'phone
And practiced alone
Now he's anything but a bore.
