Currently a little adoption center project that I've been working on for quite some time.
No, it did not take +13 hours to just draw Charmander and what is also seen in the image. I also have a complete Bulbasaur and a WIP Squirtle.
Bulbasaur took around 3 hours
Charmander took around 2 hours
Squirtle is taking the longest at about 5 hours simply because I keep leaving the window open when trying to neaten his lines.
What's it about?
This adoption center will work similarly to the Pokémon games where you may select a starter from the Lab and then battle Trainers or capture new Pokémon. Gym Leaders may also be implemented with people being hired to play them or a roleplay or chat being introduced purely for that purpose.
Legendaries will be released through events or random rare eggs will be available for adoption every 50 or 100 Pokémon. Artists and Guest Artists will be encouraged to draw their own lines since mine will be pretty bad (Charmander is the best I've done so far >w<).
As well as naturally coloured Pokémon and Shinies, Pokémon with slightly different colour variations and unique markings will be available, however all Starter Pokémon will remain with either Shiny or Natural colourations. Artists can choose to give Starters or their Pokémon creations accessories, or 'Trainers' can purchase some to put on their Pokémon instead if they have none, to try and give them a unique feel.
Trading and breeding will also be implemented later on.
At a time a Trainer can have 6 Pokémon. If they want more then they'll have to purchase a PC Slot. With a PC slot Trainers can switch Pokémon in or out of their team. A shop will be available for the Trainers to purchase bits and pieces for their Pokémon, including evolutionary stones, berries and accessories.
For now, if you're interested, please post below and perhaps lend me a few ideas to what you might like to see in the Poké Project, as well as any Pokémon you'd like to have immediately available aside from Starters.
For the time being I will not allow 6th Generation Pokémon for the simple reason that not much is known about them, nor is the dex complete for that particular generation. So please do not ask or suggest Pokémon like Chespin or Sylveon.
There will also be no Fakémon.
Legendaries and very rare Pokémon (i.e. the Regis, Phione) can be suggested but will only be released as Special Event/Special Occasion Pokémon, unless I decide otherwise.
