RAAAIIINNNNBBBOOOWWWW -barfs u rainbows and glittery squids-
Sorry Snow xD
Yaaaaayy! I was feeling like it, so here we are! An artist comp! x3
I will be choosing 3 artists. No more. And no less. {Unless less people enter, which would be sad...}
1-2 people will also be receiving a guest artist slot.
Rules::
Do:
~Make quality entries!
~Have fun!
~Be creative and original!
~Have fun!
~Be creative and original!
Don't::
-Give me 5-minute entries. Just don't. -.-'
-Give me any entries with unnatural colors- unless it is a branding on the hip or similar. AAAs are mutated. They are not rainbow.
-Please, please don't just copy another design and make 1 or 2 tweaks to it. >.> Other people worked hard on their entries; don't spawn off of them.
-Don't stress over this! :3

General Rules::
*Each person is only allowed to make 3 entries. I'm fairly sure that's enough. ^^"
*Of these entries, only 1 may have a mutation- you choose which one and which mutation {demon wings, no wings or unicorn horn}.
*Excepting mane/tail edits, and removing half or all of the feathering- these are all fairly common, and you are allowed to use any mane/tail edit in any of your entries. :3
*You will not be allowed to keep any of your entries, although you may take the design and move it onto different lines.
*Follow the species rules. This should not be difficult, as they are listed right below. Please refer to this chart as you go along.
*I will be choosing 3 artists, and no more than that. Don't try to talk me into more or bribe me. It won't work. 1-2 guest artist spots will be awarded as well, so don't get all stressed out.

Guest Artist vs. Artist
I just want to clarify this ^.^
^An artist is a regular and permanent artist. They remain making AAAs with a limit of 1 a day until they are no longer able to and must retire.
^A Guest Artist is a bit different. A GA will only stay around for 2 weeks. During that time, they may make up to 5 AAAs for adoption. If they max out and hit their limit early {again they must stick to doing a max of 1 a day}, then they must resign early. This will probably happen sometimes, if you're really that crazy for the species x3 If during their period as a Guest Artist I see some really good designs from that person, I may make them a full-time artist.

General AAA Info::
Physical AppearanceAngelic Arabians, or AAs, are small, equine creatures, ranging from about 13 hh to 16 hh. They are scarcely larger, although several have been known to be a bit smaller, around 12 hh. They have a build that resembles Arabians very closely, and since they originated in the Cloud Kingdoms above the deserts, they are believed to be the ancestors- or possible winged evolutions- of the classic Arabian. Males usually weigh in around 1,000 pounds- females remain closer to 800. One of their most distinguishing features is their wings- these large, feathery limbs are a vital part of their bodies. They are the same size in males and females, and are generally one color, but occasionally, feathers or wingtips will have spots or bars. They are aids for the AAs- of course, they use them to fly! Their feathering is also a large part of them. It keeps their leg temperature regulated, so that they do not overheat or freeze up while the Arabian is flying or running. There is an upper half and a lower half to the feathering- some on the fetlock, and some on the cannon bone. Their manes and tails also differ greatly. There are four known patterns- a shorter one, a long one, a wavy one, and the default, the most common one.Coloration and PatternsColorsAngelic Arabians tend to be towards the lighter end of the color spectrum. They come in all shades, but things like greys, palominos/buckskins, and light bays or chestnuts are most common. Just as red is valued very much in China and red and white in Morocco, light greys, red chestnuts, and cherry bays are all very highly looked up to. Cremellos have an extremely high value among the AAs, but are so rare they are scarcely ever counted as an actual color. The same rule goes for 'true' blacks, raven blacks and perlinos. Perlinos are extremely rare, but oddly enough, do not have a high value. An actual list of their possible colorations and rarity of the color is:
~ Light chestnut {OMGSC}
~ Chestnut {VC}
~ Red chestnut {R}
~ Sooty chestnut {R}
~ Liver chestnut {UC}
~ Flaxen chestnut {UC}
~ Flaxen liver chestnut {R}

~ Red roan {UC}
~ Gulastra plume {VR}
Now, I think you'll notice all of the possible colors. Dozens and dozens, yes? There seems to be no end! That's because Angelic Arabians come in nearly all normal horse colors. However, taffies, silver dapples, and pearls never show up. And many colors are quite rare, hardly ever seen in the breed at all. Also, many markings are missing. Paint patterns are very rare, and appaloosa is nonexistent- see below for all the info on markings and patterns.PatternsPatterns and markings in AAs are slightly more diverse and less common than all colorations. Although all 'markings' are present- fetlocks, socks, stockings, etc. as well as stripes, snips, stars, blazes, etc. Also, things like birdcatcher spots, brindles, blood marks, dapples and rabicanos occur. However, all markings are generally uncommon or above, so do not be surprised when you look at this list! A list of possible markings and patterns and each one's rarity can be found in a list below:
~ Birdcatcher spots {UC}
~ Brindling {R}
~ Blood marks {UC}
~ Dappling {UC}
~ Rabicano {R}

~ Spotted blanket appaloosa {R}
~ Leopard appaloosa {R}
~ Few spot appaloosa {R}
~ Manchado {VR}
~ Lace markings {VR}
~ Mosaic {OMGSR}
Now, these markings are different. They are not patterns, they are just markings. This means their rarity will be very different. A lot of it is probably incorrect, as most of this is a generalization. You can never put a true label on markings, so majority here is just going to be a very rough decision.
