These are leafy sea dragons, saw an exhibit of them at my local aquarium and fell in <3
This is based off a drawing I did for my AP portfolio.
For the original, I used a google reference (can't find the exact one) for the pose of the large dragon.
For this rehash, I didn't.

The drawing looks so soft and the outcome is just fantastic! The background adds a very smooth touch to it, even though it's simplistic.

...And yes, I love Fern Gully! It's like one of my favorite movies... Along with the Lion King and Dead Silence. (...Yup... Added a horror movie with a bunch of Disney movies as my favorites. )
