The Dark Man

Postby Pine. » Wed Jun 05, 2013 6:24 pm

I'm apologizing ahead of time for this really creep/scary picture and also the creepy story u-u Sorry!

I first saw the dark man when I was about 12 years old. My family moved around a lot, so we ended up staying at my grandmother's house quite often. The original owners actually live in the house next to my grandma's house, I'm not sure why they moved. So we were staying overnight at my grandma's house and my sisters and I've always been kind of frightened of the tiny second room upstairs, I wasn't quick enough to call the big room so I got stuck sleeping in the small room for the night. I fell asleep quite quickly only to be awoken several hours later by god knows what. I lay awake wondering why I woke up and just staring up at the ceiling when I noticed the grainyness (you know when you have that strange grainy sort of view in a dark room?) gathering into a single dark spot on the ceiling. The patch slid across the ceiling and I watched it intently, already frightened. The dark patch soon began to take the shape of a grainy man standing at the foot of my bed, he just stood there quietly, watching with sunken black hole eyes. I watched paralyzed as he held up his arm and pointed at the wall behind my bed. He just stood there like that and I remained paralyzed, gripping my sheets and fearing what would happen if I moved. I stayed like that for about an hour before I made a dash for the steps and ran downstairs.

I stayed the night camped out on the couch, fearing returning to that room. The severe adrenaline rush wouldn't allow me to sleep for another hour. I've only had one other run in with the dark man, I had decided to stay in the room again 6 years later, thinking that the dark man was just part of my imagination. He appeared again that night, but only stood there, no pointing this time. I ran a background check on the home, on the land, asked my sisters, and even asked the neighbors. Nobody knew anything about it, not even my sisters (not even my aunt who's room that used to be) saw him while staying in that room. 2 years later and I'm still petrified of sleeping in that room. We were also repainting my grandma's house about a year ago and when painting the small room, we found around 20 tiny crosses carved into the walls. We filled them all.

Sorry for the creepy story right before bed.

Also, this is a true story, these occurrences actually happened to me. Scary :'C

I am very tempted to show this to my dad as he is pretty jumpy.............. >:D

edit- I've just remembered the first house my parents lived in tougher (long before I was born obviously) was haunted by a 20 something woman, my dad was asleep and my mother had just finished watching TV downstairs and was about to go to bed when a pale figure walked across the landing and into the room where my dad was sleeping. Strangely enough no one has stayed in that house for long.

This is so cool and scary ;3 I don't think I've ever had an encounter somewhat like this, but many others in my family have, along with some old family friends ^^
